4th of July

4th of July was a blast, as usual.  We started our day with the Dale City Parade.  It is kind of funny and kind of sad that our kids equate the 4th of July with CANDY because of this event.

 

It's amazing the things we come up with to entertain ourselves while we are waiting for the parade to start.  B figured out how to get his applesauce pouch to suction to his lip.  So proud!!

This is B's "favorite Best friend".  Hard to believe from the size difference but they are only 7 weeks apart.

The whole family!!  That doesn't happen very often.

This strategy to write on the road was a HUGE SUCCESS!!  Many of the parade people commented on it and threw extra candy our way.

Sparkler fun!!  We have a tradition to get together with several families to have a big firecracker display.  We had 10 families this year and it was awesome!
